Welcome to 8th grade American History! The purpose of this class is to prepare you for your future, to help you learn about our country, and to challenge you to succeed.
Here's some important course information: Be prepared to be responsible for your success in this class. I will give you the tools to succeed, and help you in every way I can. However, your grade is up to you. Keep track of due dates, turn in your work on time, do your best on every assignment, and participate in class. This is your last year before high school and I will help you get ready for the level of work expected of you there.
